The 2014 Monaco Grand Prix occurred on Sunday in a spectacular race. Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg started the race from the pole position and finished the race in first place. Rosberg’s teammate Lewis Hamilton finished the race in second, the same spot he started from as well.

“The pressure was on all the way but I kept it cool and was able to win,” said Rosberg, via ESPN.

Australian Daniel Ricciardo, who races for the Red Bull team, finished in third place just behind Hamilton. It moves Ricciardo ahead of his more famous teammate Sebastian Vettel, who abandoned the reace early with a power unit failure.

“It is thrilling to be on the podium here in Monaco,” Ricciardo said.
