NBA Draft Rumors 2014: Orlando Magic to work out T.J. Warren, Zach LaVine & Nick Johnson

The Orlando Magic will probably be one of the most interesting teams when it comes to the NBA draft.

Although the do not have a second round pick, they have two picks in the first round. After finishing with the third-worst record in the entire league, the Orlando Magic were jumped by the Cleveland Cavaliers and fell back a spot.

The Magic wound up with the fourth-overall pick and also have the 12th-overall pick from the Denver Nuggets by way of the New York Knicks from the Dwight Howard trade.

The Magic are beginning to bring in prospects for workouts and a report surfaced earlier on Sunday that they would be hosting former Oklahoma State Cowboys’ point guard Marcus Smart and former Duke Blue Devils’ forward Rodney Hood on Monday.

According to Mike Tuck of Sports Talk 1080 in Orlando, the Magic will also be working out former North Carolina State Wolfpack forward T.J. Warren, former UCLA Bruins’ guard Zach LaVine and former Arizona Wildcats’ guard Nick Johnson.

Smart averaged 18.0 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game last season while Hood put up 16.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.

Warren averaged 24.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.1 assists per game, LaVine went for 9.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game and Johnson put up 16.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
