The arraignment for former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is taking place in Massachusetts today and things are not looking good for the former Pro Bowler. While we all saw him get arrested last summer in connection to murders that took place after a trip to a night club in 2013, this arraignment is including a murder that took place after a trip to a night club in 2012, and the details are not making Hernandez out to be any sort of hero.

While the real shocker in all of this is that the murder was perpetrated after drinks were accidentally spilled on Hernandez, the body blow to whatever case Hernandez hopes to have came when the prosecution stated that Hernandez allegedly bragged about the murders to his friends after the fact.

Of course the most stunning thing about all of this is that Hernandez signed a huge contract extension with the New England Patriots just after these 2012 murders occurred and it’s a chilling thought to think that a man who allegedly killed a guy over spilled drinks and then allegedly bragged about it was being cheered on by millions of fans around the country for an entire season.

Hernandez is going to fight these charges as he plead not guilty to all counts against him but the prosecution clearly has a leg up already and the public perception of Hernandez isn’t being helped by any of this new information that comes to light.
