What’s 300-game-winner and World Series hero Randy Johnson up to these days you ask? Well he’s still striking people out. Not major leaguers, just regular people on a Japanese game show.

More from MLB

I can’t say for sure, because I lack background information, but I think that’s the point of this contest. Can you get a hit off baseball legend Randy Johnson? But it’s Japanese so you never know, there could be some crazy twist to it that I don’t understand. The next clip could have people flailing around in a kiddie pool full of their own excrement or some other madness straight out of Takashi Miike’s craziest nightmares.

I really hope not but it’s Japan, so things could get weird at some point. There could be tentacles and/or soiled panties. It’s better if we don’t speculate further.

“You are a winner!” says Randy Johnson at the end. “All your baseball are belong to us!”

Sorry, couldn’t help myself. Oh there’s also a GIF (via Busted Coverage) of Johnson making a funny face if you’re into that sort of thing. Which of course you are because it’s Randy Johnson being wacky. How can you not love that? He’s irresistible like a cute puppy.
