Richard Sherman buys Jamal Crawford’s house
By Cory Buck
Richard Sherman entered the league as a fifth round pick for the Seattle Seahawks, which still afforded him plenty of salary to presumably at least rent some modest digs while stashing money for the uncertain future. Now with his new four year contract extension signed, don’t let him fool with you with talk of a raggedy lifestyle. Sherm is moving up, and that starts at home.

The Seattle Times reports that Sherman purchased the Seattle-area house from LA Clippers guard Jamal Crawford for the tidy sum of $2.31 million. At least with his new deal, Sherman can pay cash, right? That’s a sound investment right there. Big house, no mortgage. Do it right.
The article describes the 9,475-square-foot Maple Valley mansion as such:
"Real-estate listings detail that the Mediterranean-style house has an indoor pool/hot tub, three outdoor water features, a billiards room and game room, a wet bar, a personal beauty salon, an athletic court, two floor-to-ceiling rustic stone fireplaces, three bedrooms with private decks and, yes, a dog run.It also contains 6.25 baths, four bedrooms, six covered parking spaces and according to one real-estate listing “a double kitchen with two of everything.’’"
I’m not sure how much Richard Sherman reads articles in which he’s tagged, but Sherm if you’re reading this and you need a house sitter during your next road trip, you just let me know. No notice is too short. I am clean and respectful and I love game rooms more than is reasonable. Stew on it, bud. Get at me.
