The Miami Heat are looking at a 3-1 deficit against the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals and some fans have started to look forward to the offseason and what they can do to improve a roster that has been a obliterated by the Spurs.

More from Miami Heat

Part of the problem for the Heat in the Finals has been the point guard play, as Mario Chalmers is playing his way out of the type of contract he was thinking about looking for heading into the Finals.

As a result, the Heat could pursue a free agent point guard to fill the gap and Moke Hamilton believes that Ramon Sessions could be that guy.

Sessions actually isn’t that bad of a fit as he could be perfect. Miami needs a point guard who has experience and can run the offense without stepping on toes or disappearing. That’s what Sessions can do and if the Heat make a run at him they could end up getting a steal and fixing their point guard problem.

Chalmers likely wouldn’t be back if Sessions came aboard and we could even see the Heat trade away Norris Cole to take a point guard in the draft, but the main focus would be swapping out Chalmers for Sessions and pairing him in a tandem with Cole could work out very well.
