After an incident with their iPad and the Cloud, Jake and Annie feverishly rush to get back all their friends’ iPads before they commit the overshare of the century in the hilarious new comedy Sex Tape.
Jake and Annie are a couple that love each other very much. Unfortunately, real life has gotten in the way of their passion.

The question is, when you get stuck in a rut like theirs, what do you do to pull yourself out?
Well, Annie comes up with this bright idea for the two of them to complete every position in a book called “The Joy of Sex” and film everything on their iPad.
The two of them have a spectacular time, recapturing all of the passion that they felt they had lost. Unfortunately, before Jay has a chance to erase the sex tape like they agreed, his iPad has already synced his library to the Cloud.
Now, every single person that they bought an iPad for Christmas for is about to receive another present; one they weren’t quite counting on. Jay and Annie have now set out on a mission to get every single one of thos iPads back before they commit the overshare of the century.

Sex Tape is being directed by Jake Kasdan. This is not the first time the director has paired with his two stars. Kasdan worked with both Segel and Diaz on the film Bad Teacher.
Screenwriter Kate Angelo penned the script for the film. Angelo has plenty of experience in the romantic comedy department as she also penned the script for the film The Back-Up Plan starring Alex O’Loughlin and Jennifer Lopez.
The film stars How I Met Your Mother star Jason Segel and The Counselor actressCameron Diaz as Jay and Annie. Sex Tape also stars Hot Tub Time Machine’s Rob Corddry, Ellie Kemper, Rob Lowe, Jack Black, Jolene Blalock, and many more.
Sex Tape is scheduled to be released on July 18, 2014.
