Arizona Cardinals veteran defensive tackle Darnell Dockett is generally one of the more entertaining presences on twitter. I know that when we get to the brunt of this story it won’t seem that way, but he is oftentimes funny when he tweets some outlandish stuff, which usually isn’t in too much bad taste.

On Saturday night, though, Dockett finally did cross that line.

When going on a bit of a rant about how when spouses separate, ex-wives usually look to acquire half of the assets from the husband, especially if the man is well off in the financial department–like an athlete.

Well while he was going off about the subject, he finished the whole thing off by crossing the line and sticking up for O.J. Simpson, who we all know was involved in some serious drama of his own involving his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, whom he was accused of murdering in the mid-90s, along with her significant other at the time, Ron Goldman.

Yeah, that definitely went too far this time, and an apology should be put out.

Of course, as we all know, while Simpson was accused of the crimes, he ended up being acquitted following one of the more high-profile trials this century, despite a good amount of the evidence pointing toward him being guilty.
