The month of July is nearly here, which means that it’s almost time for the annual ESPY Awards, recognizing some of the best individual and team accomplishments in sports throughout the past year.

More from Miscellaneous

Each year in the middle of July, ESPN holds the event out in Los Angeles, and it has become one of the more popular sporting events of the calendar year, with the best of the best showing up for the festivities.

Voting for the awards this year began on Tuesday and will run through July 16. Also on Tuesday, the candidates for the various categories were released.

One of the categories that a lot of people have an opinion on is that of Best Game. The games are what make the sports we love so amazing, and therefore some of the best ones that play out during the year deserves this credit of a nomination.

With that, here are the candidates for Best Game that were revealed on Tuesday:

  • Auburn vs. Alabama, 2013 Iron Bowl
  • Colts vs. Chiefs, AFC Wild Card Game
  • Rangers vs. Kings, Stanley Cup Finals Game 5

All of these games were spectacular in their own right, but only one can walk away with the statue when all is said and done.
