The Cleveland Cavaliers have been having a hard time for the past week or so deciding what they want to do with the no. 1 overall pick in Thursday night’s NBA Draft. There is still a chance they could keep the pick, should they find a player that definitively want like they wanted Joel Embiid, and to try and aid in their decision, they invited Australian guard Dante Exum in for a final workout on Thursday.

Well, thy’re not going to get that decision-making help because, according to Chad Ford of ESPN, Exum has turned down that offer to fly out to Cleveland and give them one final look.

As of right now, the word is that the Cavs are torn between selecting Jabari Parker or Andrew Wiggins. The final workout request for Exum was maybe a last ditch effort to see if he could sway them in his direction and make the whole process a little easier, but they’ll never know that now.

Now, it seems as if they’re just going to trade out of the slot. Teams like the Orlando Magic, who have offered up the no. 4 and no. 12 picks, or the Philadelphia 76ers, who is beefing up their offer even more, are going to become more appealing trade partners as Thursday moves along.
