The odds of LeBron James playing for any team other than the Miami Heat next season are about as slim as Manute Bol. The Big Three have reportedly been discussing their contract options together, so it’s highly unlikely leaving for greener pastures is high on LeBron’s priority list.

If all three sign new contracts at slight discounts, they’ll be able to retool the roster and Kyle Lowry or even Carmelo Anthony become real possibilities. There’s also the option of LeBron getting something close to the max contract he deserves with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh staggering their contracts accordingly in order to leave enough room to sign role players.

But according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, if LeBron James leaves his mind open to free agency and actually holds meetings with other teams to hear their pitches, the Phoenix Suns plan to aggressively pursue an audience with the four-time MVP. Though they haven’t been mentioned much in the free agency conversation much until this point, the Suns represent a tantalizing destination for LeBron. Here are the five biggest reasons LeBron James should seriously consider Phoenix should he decide to take his talents elsewhere.
