Channing Frye, Orlando Magic agree to four-year, $32M deal
By Jack Crosby
Another NBA free agent domino has fallen on Monday as big man Channing Frye has reportedly agreed to terms with the Orlando Magic on a four-year deal worth in the area of $32 million.
Of course, Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski was the first to report the news of Frye agreeing to terms with the Magic on a move to the Eastern Conference.
While not considered on the level of a LeBron James or Carmelo Anthony in terms of huge name recognition on the free agency market, make no mistake about it, the Orlando Magic have gotten themselves one of the best players available at the moment.

Frye is getting set to enter his ninth year in the NBA, and the Magic will be his fourth team. Frye entered the league in 2005 as a member of the New York Knicks, where he spent two seasons. He then moved on to play two seasons for the Portland Trail Blazers, and has spent his last four with the Phoenix Suns, helping lead them back into playoff contention, just narrowly missing a spot this past season.
Last season for the Suns, Frye averaged 11.1 points and 5.1 rebounds while seeing action in all 82 games.
