One-time Orioles and Rays outfielder/DH Luke Scott has been kicked off a team in Korea after becoming embroiled in a war of words with a member of the coaching staff.

More from Baltimore Orioles

Scott reportedly was upset after being placed on the injured list by the SK Wyverns club with a case of plantar fasciitis, and had it out with coach Lee Man-soo in the locker room in front of everyone.

Per the Korean media, Scott then went to reporters to air his grievance against the coaches (via The Baltimore Sun).

"He reportedly said that he is the one who knows his physical condition best, and has had his own ‘routine’ in managing it during his Major League Baseball career. But he argued that the team does not respect that, and just forces its ways on him."

Scott has been placed on the injured list three times this year by SK Wyverns. He is hitting .267 this season with 8 HR despite his physical difficulties.

Now thanks to his belligerent ways – which also plagued him in America – Scott is on the street looking for a new job. The 36-year-old will have a hard time making his way back to MLB, if that indeed is his intention. And it’s not just because he’s old and his body is apparently breaking down. That attitude doesn’t help.

Maybe he can get a job as a massage artist.
