While they may be all business when they are out on the pitch, not all soccer stars are as serious as you would think. In fact, some of them are downright hilarious.

Some of you may have seen the video that made its way around the internet back around Halloween where soccer stars Alex Morgan and Sydney Leroux re-enacted the infamous scene between Robin Thicke and Miley Cyrus at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Well, it would seem as if someone was finally able to take the madness a step further.
In a video posted by KickTV, we see soccer stars like Chicago Fire forward Mike Magee, LA Galaxy defender Omar Gonzalez, Seattle Reign striker and goalkeeper Sydney Leroux and Hope Solo in an incredible spoof on the iconic 1986 film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off which they refer to as Mike Magee’s Day Off.
Magee takes on the role of the professional slacker himself, played in the original film by Matthew Broderick. This leaves Gonzalez take on the role of Ferris’ best friend Cameron Frye, who was originally played by Alan Ruck. It would seem as if Solo has taken on the role of Ferris’ easily annoyed sister Jeanie and Leroux has tapped into the role of Sloane Peterson.
I have to say, for a three minute take, the spoof was pretty well done and hit just about every memorable spot in the film. Unfortunately, they didn’t have enough time to tap into all of them like the destroying of the beautiful red Ferrari. I will say, though, that it is totally worth the view.
You really should see this for yourself. Here’s a look at Mike Magee’s Day Off courtesy of KickTV.
