The Denver Broncos made  a big splash in free agency by signing some big names, among them was former Dallas Cowboys defensive end/outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware. With a new team, Ware says he feels better than he has in the last two seasons.

“I feel better than I did the last two years going into the season,” Ware said Thursday, via Mike Klis of The Denver Post. “Stronger, faster. I feel flexible.”

And what is responsible for all this? An unusual Eastern medicine technique called “cupping.”

“It is like a jar, and you put a hot fire in there and the heat that’s in there just sucks the skin up in there,” Ware said. “It keeps your pores open and it sucks that bad blood that’s on the surface of your epidermis. The skin. It helps with blood flow. It helps out a lot.”

Ware even posted a picture of it on his Instagram account. It definitely not the normal kind of physical therapy athletes under go, but the Broncos don’t care what Ware does to get healthy. As long has he brings double-digit sack numbers to a defense that was the weak point of the Broncos’ team last season.
