When Microsoft announced Halo: The Master Chief Collection during the 2014 Electronic Entertainment Expo, Halo fans everywhere rejoiced.  That much content packed into one box surely was a thing of beauty.  Now, with San Diego Comic Con right around the corner, Halo: The Master Chief Collection is back in the news, this time in the form of a console.

Microsoft has kept pretty standard thus far with the Xbox One.  The only console offering outside of the standard black color scheme, was the white Titanfall edition that was never released to the public.  Now thanks to Senior PR Manager for Halo, Rob Semsey, gamers get their first look at a Halo: The Master Chief Collection themed console.

It’s not only good news for Halo fans however, Semsey also notes that Forza Horizon 2 will be receiving the Xbox One console treatment.  A gorgeous yellow box with Forza insignia, it is definitely a head turner.

The consoles are still not available for purchase however, as Semsey notes that fans are able to enter for a chance to win them at San Diego’s Comic Con event.

Without a question it is at E3 that gamers annually expect to hear the most information surrounding their favorite new upcoming titles from the three biggest companies in video games, San Diego’s Comic Con is no slouch of an event either.  With plenty more information to drop on upcoming titles throughout Q3 and Q4 of this year, keeping an ear to the ground throughout Comic Con is sure to pay off.

Let us know if you’ll be out in California next weekend.
