On Friday, they added their 21st commitment in the class of 2015 and it was one of their best yet. 4-Star weak-side defensive end Austin Bryant gave his pledge to the Tigers. The 6’4, 249-pound Bryant attends Thomas County High School in Thomasville, Georgia, a town the rival Florida State Seminoles usually recruit very well, making this an even bigger coup.

Barton Simmons of 24/7 Sports’ has the scoop on Bryant’s game.

"247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Barton Simmons recently had this to say about Bryant’s performance at The Opening:“At 6-4, 249 pounds, Austin Bryant is a defensive lineman with the versatility to play on the outside or on the inside. In one drill, he was giving a look as a linebacker and flashed the ability to flow and fill from the second level as well. He just shows really natural athleticism and strength and while he may not be as advanced as some of the other guys there, we loved the upside he possesses.”"

Bryant is ranked as the country’s 11th-best weak-side defensive end prospect, the 15th-best overall prospect in the state of Georgia and the 147th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

Bryant holds offers from the Seminoles, Alabama Crimson Tide, Auburn Tigers, Florida Gators, LSU Tigers, Miami Hurricanes and Texas A&M Aggies, among many others.

Bryant is the Tigers’ fifth-highest rated commitment behind 5-Star offensive tackle Mitch Hyatt, 4-Star wide receiver Deon Cain, 4-Star offensive tackle Jake Fruhmorgen and 4-Star defensive end Clelin Ferrell.

The Tigers’ class ranks third nationally and first in the ACC.
