The LSU Tigers have had great skill players over the year but arguably the biggest reason for their continued success is the play of their lines, both on offense and defense.

The Tigers believed they may have landed their next great big ugly up front wen 3-Star offensive tackle Matt Womack gave his pledge to the Tigers on Sunday.
Courtney Cronin of The Clarion Ledger had the scoop.
“I came down Friday and am leaving today,” Womack said via text. “After spending the weekend with the players and the coaches I figured out that this is where I want to be.
“It’s a great school and got along with everyone so much. While being down here I felt like I fit in perfect with everyone.”
Womack announced the decision through his twitter account.
The 6’7, 320-pounder attends Hernando High School in Hernando, Mississippi. He is ranked as the country’s 130th-best offensive tackle prospect, the 26th-best overall prospect in the state of Mississippi and the 1,200th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Womack held offers from Arkansas State Red Wolves, Georgia State Panthers, Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks, but power programs have been taking notice – the Louisville Cardinals, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Ole Miss Rebels and South Carolina Gamecocks have all offered Womack in the last two months. He was thought to be an Ole Miss lean, but an unofficial visit to Baton Rouge over the weekend convinced him LSU is the place for him.
Womack hopes to finish high school in December and enrolled at LSU in the fall.
