Johnny Manziel has yet to step onto an NFL field and play in any type of NFL environment, and yet he is already one of the league’s biggest stars. Everywhere Manziel goes he is hounded by paparazzi and fans asking him questions or questioning what he is doing at the time.

More from NFL

Even though Manziel may not even start for the Browns next season, his jersey sales have been the NFL’s best selling jersey since the draft. Who is No. 2 in jersey sales you ask? None other than reigning Super Bowl champion Russell Wilson.

Manziel not only beat out the likes of established NFL stars such as Peyton Manning, Adrian Peterson, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, LeSean McCoy, and others, but he actually beat out one of the fastest rising stars in the league and most recent Super Bowl winner in Russell Wilson.

Manziel clearly has the “it” factor to become one of the faces of the NFL over the next decade or more, the question is whether on not his play on the field will match his off the field popularity. If not, Manziel could potentially be the league’s next Tim Tebow.

With training camp just around the corner, we will find out sooner rather than later just how well Manziel will perform on the field in an NFL scenario and atmosphere. The pressure is on, but that has never fazed Manziel before.
