The past two seasons for New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski have been rough as he’s gone from rushing himself back too soon to not getting back fast enough and everything in between. The bottom line is that Rob Gronkowski didn’t play a whole lot of football these past two seasons and that’s going to change this year.

More from New England Patriots

After suffering a few different injuries, from a broken arm that didn’t heal properly to an ACL tear that seemed to just pile on top of things, the Patriots have elected to not put Gronkowski on the PUP list before training camp and are expecting him to not only fully participate in camp this summer but be ready for the start of the season.

This is huge news indeed for the Patriots as it means that Tom Brady will be getting back a target he sorely missed at numerous times last season ,specifically in the AFC Championship Game against the Denver Broncos.

Having Gronkowski back also affects fantasy rankings as well. Last season there was doubt as to when he’d play and even though he did eventually play his season was wiped out thanks to an ACL tear. This year things look to be different though and he’s already off to a better start than he was last year.
