After selecting former Indiana Hoosiers’ guard Victor Oladipo with the second-overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, the Magic used the fourth-overall selection in last month’s draft to select former Arizona Wildcats’ forward Aaron Gordon.

More from NBA

Gordon measured in at 6’8.75″ and 220 lbs. with a wingspan of 6’11.75″ at the NBA’s Scouting Combine. He averaged 12.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game while shooting 49.5% from the field, 35.6% from beyond the arc and 42.2% from the free throw line for the Wildcats last season. Jonathan Givony of Draft Express ranked Gordon as the ninth-best prospect in the daft.

Gordon is an extremely raw and his shooting, most notably his free throw percentage leave a lot of be desired. However, he has given glimpses of what he can do because he is already one of the league’s best athletes.

This week, Gordon and fellow Magic first round pick, point guard Elfird Payton, participated in MAGIC FIT, which is the team’s first-ever fitness and nutrition education program for youth. The goal is to improve the knowledge of healthy food choices and fitness exercises among at-risk children within Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties, three local Central Florida counties.

The cause is fantastic but the biggest news to come out of the program was Gordon showing off his ball-handling ability – on a young child. During the camp, Gordon crossed over a little girl and the girl fell over and you can watch the video below.
