The Pittsburgh Pirates are looking to get some help at the trade deadline and are in business to try and find some left-handed bullpen help from whoever is offering it up.

More from Boston Red Sox

Lucky for them, the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies are both selling some help that the Pirates will be looking for which could lead to a deal.

As Jon Morosi from FOX Sports points out, the Pirates are continuing to look for left handed pitching, and while he doesn’t give any specific names in his tweet, one can’t help but be reminded of the reports linking the Pirates to both Andrew Miller from Boston and Antonio Bastardo from Philadelphia.

Of course, any left-handed relief help would be welcome, but both Miller and Bastardo are top tier names on the market and are both gettable and for sale. Bastardo may be easier to wrestle away from the Phillies than Miller will be from Boston but the bottom line is that Pittsburgh is in the hunt for bullpen help and they’ll find it if they try hard enough.
