Michael Vick walks out on media when asked about Jets starting quarterback job (Video)

Since he has arrived with the New York Jets, veteran quarterback Michael Vick has repeatedly stated that he is the backup, and the team belongs to Geno Smith. He’s here, more or less, just to provide some much needed help.

But from the time that he started talking about that, knowing the competitor that he is, few people believed that Vick was that content with just conceding the job to the second-year player in Smith, who played nowhere near a good level last year during his rookie season.
Well on Thursday, we may have begun to see the frustration from Vick regarding the whole situation.
While speaking with the media on Thursday, Vick was asked by Rich Cimini of ESPN about the quarterback spot, and the exchange ended with Vick walking out on them.
“Decision about what?” Vick asked.
“The quarterback job,” Cimini answered.
“I’m outta here,” Vick said.
He then smiled and added, “Ya’ll have a good one.”
As he departed, Vick had to walk right past Cimini.
“Well, I mean—that’s a fair question,” Cimini said.
Vick, smiling, said, “It’s a fair question, man,” and patted Cimini on the butt.
While it may have ended with a pat on the butt from Vick to Cimini, it seems like Vick may have caught himself losing his temper and saved the situation.
