The NBA is gearing up to reveal it’s next slate of games for this upcoming season and the games we’re already hearing about sound like they might be some of the more exciting games we will see all season long.

More from Golden State Warriors

According to ESPN, as well as the LA Times, the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors will be playing on Christmas Day in one of the scheduled games.

"The Los Angeles Times reported earlier this week that the L.A. Clippers and Golden State Warriors also will square off in one of the league’s Christmas Day games in a renewal of the growing rivalry between the Pacific Division clubs."

This isn’t all that surprising as the NBA needs some west coast teams to pair up on Christmas to round out the day of action, and there isn’t a better or more intense rivalry in the Western Conference at the moment than the Clippers and Warriors. The two teams simply dislike one another and it usually proves to be a great game whenever they meet.

It’s becoming almost a tradition for the teams to meet on Christmas, which means that the two sides doing it again this year will round out what looks to be a great day of Christmas basketball.
