But the additions may not be over, as one veteran player is starting to hear his name kicked around Cleveland once again, as Chauncey Billups is coming up in conversations about the Cavaliers roster additions.
According to Jared Zwerling, Billups remains a serious candidate for the Cavaliers, but it appears that he’d be joining the bench in a capacity other than that of an assistant coach.
Zwerling clarifies and confirms that this interest with Billup is in regards to his playing with the team, not serving as an assistant under David Blatt.
Adding Billups to the roster isn’t one of hte hot moves that the Cavaliers have been rumored to be making, but it’s looking like they may be interested in adding him anyways. The bottom line is that Billups brings experience to the table and the Cavaliers can never have too much of that on their new and revamped roster.
