The St. Louis Rams thought they might be working without linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar should he face discipline for battery and disorderly conduct charges that were pressed against him this summer, but thankfully the situation has resolved itself.

In late July, Dunbar was arrested in Miami after an altercation and it was looking like he may be in some trouble with both the law and the league but the charges are no longer pending against the Rams linebacker.

According to Jim Thomas from the St. Louis Dispatch, the charges for battery and disorderly conduct that were brought against Dunbar have been dropped.

This doesn’t mean that Dunbar is totally out of trouble, as eyes will now be on him moving forward, but he isn’t facing any immediate discipline from the NFL which is what the Rams want to hear and what Dunbar was hoping for in terms of resolution on this whole situation.
