The last several weeks have been quite difficult for the USA men’s basketball team while gearing up for the 2014 FIBA World Cup that begins later this month in Spain.

More from NBA

First Paul George suffered a brutal leg fracture during the team’s scrimmage, and then the team lost Kevin Durant due to personal reasons. Losing two superstars in a span of a few days is quite difficult to recover from, but the team is moving forward hoping to still take home gold in the World Cup.

Today, the team got back to practice in Chicago with the recently acquired Rudy Gay filling the void left by Durant. During team drills the team’s big men which include Kenneth Faried, Anthony Davis, Andre Drummond among others, began practicing dunks. Check out the compilation of the dunks in the video below:

Hopefully we will see some highlight reel dunks when the USA team kicks off the tournament against Group C opponent Finland on August 30th.

The USA team is still projected to win the entire tournament even with it’s depleted roster. Host country Spain will hope to spoil the party for the USA team, but it will be a tough task nonetheless.
