Rapper Joe Budden wanted by NYPD for robbery

Rapper Joe Budden has found himself in a bit of hot water. The New York Police Department posted his picture to their Twitter account saying Budden was wnated for robbery.

The Tweet offers little information but it looks like he stoke the cellphone of a 25 year-old female very early one morning roughly five days ago.

Unfortunately the accusations get much worse than that. According to Page Six of the New York Post, Budden beat up his ex-girlfriend outside a night club. And according to the NYPD Tweet, he stole her cell phone as well. It sounds like a jealous boyfriend taking her phone to go through it after getting upset about her social media activity in an odd Donald Sterling sort of way.

"The “Pump It Up” singer is accused of forcing the 25-year-old woman into his car near the corner of Nagle Avenue and Dyckman Street at around 4:30 a.m. Monday before before smashing her head off the dashboard and driving to his New Jersey home, where the beating continued, police said.Sources said the “Love and Hip Hop” star became enraged after he saw pictures of his ex on Instagram clubbing with other men.“Apparently there was an argument over pictures she was posting online with other guys,” a law enforcement said of the argument. “She was going to nightclubs and he didn’t like that.”"

Budden responded on Twitter.

And in regards to the specific allegations.

It might be telling that NYPD says he is wanted for robbery and not assault.
