Coming into Thursday night everyone was wondering just how the Texas A&M Aggies would look without Johnny Manziel at the helm at quarterback and Kenny Hill stepping in. Well, not only are we seeing during the route of the South Carolina Gamecocks on Thursday night that they’re going to be just fine, but believe it or not, this offense might be even more efficient with Hill under center.

While that last sentence may seem crazy, it could be true, because in his first game at the helm of the Aggies’ offense, Hill broke Manziel’s single-game passing record.

The pass came early in the fourth quarter, and with the way this offense is going, he might have an easy time getting to 500 yards before all is said and done in Columbia.

A&M’s offense has done nothing but gash and tear apart the South Carolina defense all night in the SEC opener, on their way to putting up over 50 points. And if Hill keeps playing anywhere close to the way that he did tonight against the Gamecocks, then there are going to be a lot of defenses in the SEC this season leaving their game with the Aggies with some big headaches.

Johnny who?
