It’s time to get the college football season underway for the 2014 campaign, and on Thursday night, we’re treated to a huge match up in the SEC between the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Texas A&M Aggies.

More from College Football

The Gamecocks are coming into this one with some legitimate national title hopes, despite losing star players such as defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and quarterback Connor Shaw.

Dylan Thompson will be taking over the reins under center this season, and given his past experience in taking over for Shaw the past few seasons when he went down with injury, there’s a lot of confidence that he can get South Carolina to the next level in the conference. Plus, he doesn’t have too shabby of a running back behind him in the form of Mike Davis, who rushed for over 1,000 yards last season.

Texas A&M will begin their new life without Johnny Manziel on Thursday night, and taking over for the former Heisman winner will be Kenny Hill. This will be the first look that we get at the new starter in some serious game action, other than mop-up duty.

Here’s how you can watch all the action live on Thursday as the college football season gets underway.

Date: August 28

Location: Columbia, SC
