Tim Tebow says Texas A&M QB Kenny Hill ‘is ready to go’
By Dan Zinski
What kind of college football commentator will Florida Gators legend and NFL wash-out Tim Tebow turn out to be? If early indications tell us anything, he’ll be the kind who likes spouting generic rah-rah platitudes about popular players.

Tebow got a head start at putting cheerleading style over critical substance with his remarks about Texas A&M quarterback Kenny Hill, who busted the ghost of Johnny Manziel by going crazy against South Carolina Thursday night (via NFL.com):
"“This kid is ready to go. Kenny Hill was the 2012 Texas (high school) Player of the Year. He’s succeeded at every level, his dad was a major league player, and this kid can play,” Tebow said. “His first start, on the road, No. 9 team in the country, you throw for 511 yards. … Why Texas A&M has a chance to win every game they play in this year, is because Kenny Hill has poise. He has great decision-making and there isn’t a situation that is too big for him.”"
If the commentating thing doesn’t work out for Tebow, he has a great career ahead of him as a PR man.
I guess it would have been asking too much for Tebow to attempt to bring something of substance to his work as a talking head. Yeah Tebow, we saw Hill. He looked good. And we know his backstory.
Way to dig deep into the situation and tell us something we couldn’t have learned from looking up Hill’s bio on the Texas A&M website. Tebow is going to be a total bore on television.
