The Arkansas Razorbacks are getting a year’s worth of frustration out of their system against Nicholls State as their high-powered rushing attack has been dominant on Saturday.

More from College Football

Arkansas has already rushed for 327 yards on the afternoon on only 15 carries, good for a 21.7 yards per carry average with five of those carries going for touchdowns.

Two of the touchdowns were more than 80 yards, including this 90-yard touchdown scamper from Jonathan Williams that extended the lead for the Hogs to 49-0 with 5:55 left in the first half.

Williams has one of the craziest stat lines you’ll see this year. he has four carries for 143 yards and a touchdown. Pretty solid 35.8 yards per carry average, huh?

Keon Hatcher had an 82-yard touchdown on an end around in the first quarter and Alex Collins added 75 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries.

Arkansas has struggled at the quarterback position under Bret Bielema as Brandon Allen has struggled with his accuracy and consistency after battling through injury at times last year, but one thing Arkansas has no trouble with is rushing the football.

When the Hogs can get a solid passing attack, they will have a much more balanced attack that could put a team or two on upset alert later this season when they get to the heart of their SEC schedule.
