Keith Olbermann goes in on the NFL, Adrian Peterson and sponsors again

ESPN’s Keith Olbermann is a one-man wrecking crew and has been on a rampage over the past two weeks as he takes on the NFL. It started with the domestic violence incident involving former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice, the subsequent questions about the NFL’s faulty investigation, and turned to the child abuse scandal involving Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.

On Tuesday, Olbermann focused on Peterson once again. Starting off with running down the sponsors who acted to do something about the situation, and turning his attention towards those that have done nothing.

Then once again, Olbermann turns towards the hypocrisy in the Vikings stance and handling of the situation. The Vikings main point in reinstating Peterson was that the legal process hadn’t had time to play out. The only problem is, as Olbermann points out, the Vikings don’t have a long history of waiting for that to make a decision on a player who has been embroiled in legal trouble.

Olbermann points out the long list of players that were fired for their various incidents, suggesting that the Vikings are giving Peterson preferential treatment. Not that anyone doubts that.
