According to Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders, Lowry is “all in” on the Raptors.

"The Toronto Raptors re-signing Kyle Lowry leaps off the page, mainly because had the Raptors lost Lowry they might have come apart as a team and they were clearly a special group last year. With the age and construction of the roster, there really isn’t a reason to believe they won’t pick up and likely improve from where they were last year. There is always the case of a guy excelling mainly because he’s in a contract year, but in talking with Lowry about his season, it’s clear that he finally turned off the somewhat selfish part of himself and embraced a new mindset. It paid dividends, and like someone who has found a new diet that works, Lowry is all the way in on what’s going on in Toronto, which is huge."

Lowry was the Raptors’ best player last season and the biggest reason for their success. It’s good to see he’s seemingly turned a corner.

Lowry averaged 17.9 points, 7.4 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 42.3% from the field, 38.0% from beyond the arc and 81.3% from the charity stripe last season. Lowry, who was selected 24th-overall pick of the first round of the 2006 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies, has also played for the Raptors and Houston Rockets. In his career, he’s gone for 11.7 points, 5.4 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 41.8% from the floor, 35.0% from three and 79.1% from the free throw line.
