Last year, this thing happened:

Cleveland Cavaliers fan James Blair, who famously stormed the court to confront Lebron James during the Cavaliers-Miami Heat game last season, is no longer banned from games.

The story broke when Blair, who had raced out in a handmade shirt demanding “We Miss You” on the front and “2014 Come Back” on the back, posted to his Facebook that he is free to attend games again this season. He expressed his excitement at finally being allowed to attend games again, since he has been banned from the Quicken Loans Arena since pulling the stunt back in March of 2013.

Sources later confirmed that Blair’s ban has indeed been lifted.

“Missing ALL events over the past year hasn’t been easy”, said Blair in his status, “Thanks everyone again and #GoCavs”.

The shirt, which was made in reference to Lebron’s impending free agent status, had seemed like a bit of a joke at the time. Now, we can’t help but wonder: Would the ban still be in effect if Lebron hadn’t decided it was time to “come home”?

The ban was originally given for life, but needless to say, James Blair has to be one happy Lebron fan.
