Romo was a perfect seven-for-seven in passing, including the scoring pass. Running back Delmarco Murray added 19 rushing yards on six carries, but the big play was the catch by Williams resulting in the touchdown:
Williams has caught two passes for 21 years so far in the game. It’s the third touchdown of the year for the 25-year old Williams. The second year wide receiver from Baylor has 102 yards on eight receptions so far this season. Williams caught five touchdown passes in 2013 with the Cowboys. He had a touchdown in the first game of the season against the San Francisco 49ers, and caught another touchdown last week against the St. Louis Rams, although he only caught two receptions in both week two and three.
It’s Romo’s fifth touchdown this season, and the quarterback also has four interceptions entering today’s game. The Cowboys are 2-1 on the 2014 season, and three of Romo’s interceptions came in the opening week loss to the 49ers.
