LeSean McCoy on if he’s healthy: ‘It doesn’t matter’
By Sam Richmond
LeSean McCoy has been dreadful for the Philadelphia Eagles throughout the past two weeks of NFL action. McCoy, the NFL’s rushing champion in 2013, rushed for just 39 yards total combined in Week 3 and Week 4.

Some have suggested that McCoy might not be healthy as an explanation for his struggles. However, Shady told ESPN’s Phil Sheridan that he should be performing better regardless of health.
"After the game in San Francisco, McCoy said it “doesn’t matter” if he’s healthy"
It’s worth noting that McCoy also said after the game that he’s “fine,” so health doesn’t appear to be a factor here.
Eagles coach Chip Kelly also suggested McCoy was healthy.
"“He’s not on the treatment list,” Kelly said. “He does normal maintenance like everybody else, but he hasn’t had any injuries where we’ve done anything with him.”"
This is simply a matter of McCoy not playing well and one has to give him credit for not trying to make excuses.
The Eagles running back has a cupcake matchup this week against a St. Louis Rams defense that has allowed the third most rushing yards per game in the NFL, so it might not be long before McCoy is back to his productive ways.
