Needless to say, the Vikings blew coverage on that play. Safety Harrison Smith bit badly on Nelson’s fake cut to the outside, and then it was easy to cut back inside and catch a long ball from Rodgers. This is the type of play that the Packers were missing in the first few weeks of the season, but they are back in business.
Rodgers and the Packers’ offense appears to be much more focused tonight, and Eddie Lacy has picked up 59 yards on five carries as well. It could very well be a long night for Minnesota, but this game is far from over.
