Brock Lesnar and John Cena to face off again at the Royal Rumble?

More from WWE

Back at Night of Champions, Brock Lesnar walked away from the main event with his WWE World Heavyweight Championship still in his possession, which many believed had signaled the end of his feud with John Cena. That was the last time that we would see those two in the ring together, as it’s time for Lesnar and Cena to move on to other things, right?

Well, maybe not entirely.

According to a report from Wrestling Rumors, citing the Wrestling Observer, there is potentially a plan in place that would see the two step into the ring with one another once again with the title on the line. Of course, Lesnar would again walk away with the title, only the end of this match would signal the beginning of the feud between Rusev and Cena.

"Brock Lesnar may defend the WWE title against John Cena at “Royal Rumble.” The 2015 edition of the “Royal Rumble” event will also feature a 40-man Royal Rumble match and emanate from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Jan. 25. However, the outcome of the rumored WWE World Heavyweight Championship bout will likely set up two major matches atWrestleMania 31."

Now, while some might groan at the fact of seeing this match once again, the Royal Rumble might be the perfect stage for this to take place. They don’t have to be the focal point of the show, as it appears the main focus will be the 40-man Royal Rumble match itself, and presumably Roman Reigns’ quest to win it.
