Steam continually finds ways to give back to their gamers and now Valve is bringing some free games to spice up your weekend.

PC gaming fans rejoice, Steam is set to treat you to a fun weekend. The computer gaming service has always done a good job of enticing gamers to get on and play with great deals on solid games, keeping the fun fresh and exciting. This weekend, ten games will all be free to play.

Thanks to Valve and some of their partners, the list of offerings is anything but paltry. Should you want to get in on the action, make sure you have a compatible PC and a Steam account. The time frame for the free games will go from 10 a.m. Pacific on Thursday, October 16 and runs through 10 a.m. Sunday, October 19.

Here’s the list of free titles that will be offered:

  • Awesomenauts
  • Blade Symphony
  • Company of Heroes 2
  • Don’t Starve
  • Grid 2
  • Injustice: Gods Among Us
  • Killing Floor
  • Payday 2
  • Trine 2
  • XCOM: Enemy Unknown

All of these games will be free during the duration of the weekend, however if you decide you like any of them enough to warrant a purchase, the best time would be this weekend as well. Each of the ten games on the list will be eligible to be purchased at a discount over the weekend.

While I haven’t personally played many of these titles, there’s definitely a couple of gems in the bunch. Grid 2 is a severely underrated racing experience and stacks up well for those fans of the Forza Horizon type titles.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is also another solid title, and is a must play for anyone that’s a fan of a superhero experience. Considering the advanced nature of the game on consoles, I can’t imagine how nice it looks on a decked out PC.

Let us know if there’s any titles you’re excited about trying out over the weekend. There has to be a little something here for everyone.
