Everybody knows the

Jacksonville Jaguars

are one of the

NFL

‘s worst teams.

Their situation has only gotten worse as starting running back and offseason acquisition Toby Gerhart will miss his second straight game this weekend against the Cleveland Browns with an ankle injury.

According to Josh Alper’s of Pro Football Talk, Gerhart was officially ruled out and has missed the last five Jaguars’ practices.

Don’t worry Jaguars’ fans; you still have Storm Johnson and Denard Robinson in your backfield!

Gerhart, who was brought in by the Jaguars this past offseason, was primed to be the Jaguars’ featured back and to help out rookie quarterback Blake Bortles.

With only 9.6 rushes per game and 123 total yards, it’s pretty safe to say that Toby Gerhart has been a disappointment (amongst many others) for the Jackonville Jaguars in 2014.

The fifth-year running back from Stanford has also fumbled the ball once this season to go along with his only trip to the end zone.

This may have been a great time for Gerhart to get things moving because the Cleveland Browns rush defense is 30th in the league.

What does this mean going forward for the Jaguars?

Storm Johnson and Denard Robinson have combined for 142 yards on 42 carries and just one touchdown. Blake Bortles & Co. are 0-6 this season, so will this be the week they finally pick up a victory?

Don’t put your money on it; they will have to do it without their starting running back at home.
