There is apparently some multiplicity going on at NC State, at least according to Fox Sports South, which used the same photo to identify different players.

It’s a common practice in sports television to identify the impact players from the teams that are competing on the broadcast.

Not so common is to pull off what Fox Sports South did Saturday during its telecast of NC State taking on Louisville at Papa John’s Stadium—using the same photo to identify two different players … on the same side-by-side graphic.

North Carolina State’s offense is impacted by freshman wide receiver Bo Hines and sophomore tight end David J. Grinnage, according to the telecast.

Much of their impact may come from the fact that opponents can’t tell the two of them apart.

This is made even more amazing by the fact that NC State’s roster lists Grinnage at 6-foot-5 and 269 pounds, while Hines checks in at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds.

So, yeah, twins … in that whole Schwarzenegger-DeVito sort of way.

For the record, the photo is that of Hines—if you couldn’t discern that from the size differences listed above and the relatively slight build of the young guy in the photo.

Hines came into Saturday leading the Wolfpack with 26 receptions and 347 yards and also scored a touchdown. Grinnage had put up 14 receptions for 200 yards and a score for 4-3 NC State.
