To get the college football day started on Saturday, the West Virginia Mountaineers pulled off the upset at home of No. 4 ranked Baylor. It was an amazing way to start Week 8 and it was a much deserved win for a program that is back on the rise in the Big 12.
However, as we’ve come to learn throughout the years, West Virginia fans love to celebrate big wins and they love to always toe the line of taking it too far.
Well on Saturday night, the police thought they did take it too far into the night and were a little too rambunctious, because they needed to bring the tear gas out.
Oh, those West Virginia fans will never change. Of course, couches were burned too, but that’s just a given at this point whenever the team wins a big game.
Sometimes, watching the fans celebrate is more enjoyable than watching the team actually win the game, because we get moments like this.
You have to sincerely wonder what would happen if this program won a national title in this era.
