Bill Clinton disagrees with the infamous offensive pass interference call towards the end of the Notre Dame-Florida State game Saturday.

It seemed the majority of the people that caught the ending of last Saturday’s Notre DameFlorida State game agreed that the referees made the right decision to call pass interference on what would have been the go-ahead touchdown for Notre Dame with less than a minute left in the game.

Still, there remain many that disagree vehemently with the call, which is a group that apparently includes former President Bill Clinton.

We really have reached a great place in college football when former presidents are commenting on penalty calls.

Still, Clinton appears to be on the wrong side of things here.

While those that believe the call was wrong are unlikely to be swayed at this point,NCAA national coordinator of officials Rogers Redding recently explained that the correct call was made.

"Here’s the offensive pass interference foul that generated quite a bit of comment at the end of this game. You can see that the widest receiver and the split end both block down on defenders, allowing No. 88 to cut off those blocks and catch the pass for the apparent touchdown. So this is correctly called as offensive pass interference and the penalty was correctly enforced to erase the touchdown."

Thanks to the penalty call, Florida State was able to defeat Notre Dame 31-27 and remain undefeated.
