As a Boston Bruins fan, I’ve been trained to dislike anything coming out of Montreal in an almost Pavlovian way.

More from Montreal Canadiens

That being said, I kind of like what P.K. Subban has done for Halloween this year. He’s Michael Jackson, but like, the normal Michael Jackson. The Michael Jackson who sang and danced and spent more money on his Thriller music video than I might ever earn in my life.

Back to P.K. Subban.

I give him points for originality, and also for being willing to put on that much makeup. In comparison, Sidney Crosby is Rocky– I kind of think that Michael Jackson is the way better choice.

Also- since when has P.K. Subban looked that much like the old Michael Jackson? I genuinely had no idea.

If the rest of the Montreal Canadiens can find a way to dress up as his accompanying zombies, they’ll officially be the coolest team in the NHL (for a very brief time, before I go back to disliking them on principle). They might also win the internet.

Your move, Montreal. It’s okay if you’re too scared to do it- at least your most infamous defenseman knows how to celebrate my favorite holiday in style.
