The Auburn Tigers and the South Carolina Gamecocks are just throwing haymakers at one another on Saturday night as they’re engaged in the shootout of the weekend currently. The latest punch in this one came from Auburn’s Ricardo Louis.

With the game all tied up at 28 after the teams once again traded scores, Gus Malzahn called up a play for Louis that most certainly paid its dividends.

Watch in the video below as Louis takes the hand off from Nick Marshall and then proceeds to fly 75 yards down the left sideline to give his team the lead.

Now if you want to hear something a little surprising, that play is the longest from scrimmage in the nearly two years that Malzahn has been the head man on the Plains.

However, you guessed it, Auburn did not hold the lead for long, as South Carolina immediately answered right back, knotting everything up at 35.
