The Alabama Crimson Tide are on the road this weekend as they take on the Tennessee Volunteers, which of course means that Lane Kiffin is making his return to the place that he once scorned. It’s been one of the top stories all week, and on Saturday it finally happened.
Amid reports such as his mother fearing for his safety in Knoxville, among others, Kiffin has indeed walked back into Neyland Stadium; although he did have some friends with him.
Watch in the video below as Kiffin walks back into the place that he called home for one season, with the help of some police security.
This is a sight that many thought they would never see again, yet here it is, Kiffin walking back into Neyland Stadium.
Kiffin was the head coach of Tennessee in 2009, where he led the team to a 7-6 overall record. However, immediately following the year, Kiffin accepted the head coaching job at USC, where he was once the offensive coordinator. Kiffin was fired in late September of 2013 by the Trojans, which allowed him to become the offensive coordinator for Alabama before this season.
