Miami Dolphins defensive end Dion Jordan is the former No. 3 overall pick in the draft but he has some work to do if he wants to shake his label as a bust.

Dion Jordan hasn’t gotten much of a chance to start in the NFL during his short career. But given the fact that he was the No. 3 overall pick of the 2013 NFL draft, he’ has a lot of pressure on him to succeed.

It’s sort of unfair to label him a bust given how little time he’s been on the field but that No. 3 overall tag is a big deal. His suspension to start this season was a big deal too, but he’s set to return and try and erase the negative attention this week.

According to Armando Salguero, the Miami Dolphins have activated Dion Jordan which means he may play on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

This would be huge for the Dolphins as they need to jolt their defense and they need to get interesting. In an very winnable AFC East where the Buffalo Bills are a game out of first place, the Dolphins are in the running for their first division title since 2008.

Since 2000, the Dolphins have won the division twice after owning the AFC East for the latter half of the 1990s. Their streak of five straight division titles from 1997-2001 was the last time the team has been anywhere near respectable execpt for the one year the Patriots got out of the way in 2008.

Just like that year, the Patriots are struggling which means if Dion Jordan can help this defense start to be a brute force, a division title is very much a psssibility.
