Kim Kardashian Raking In Video Game Profits
No matter how you feel about her, Kim Kardashian is a brandin genius and her video game adventure is just the latest thing to turn into a money fountain.
Kim Kardashian is known for many things, most of which are probably not ok to write publicly about, but starring in video games is definitely not one of them. Apparently though, Kim is plenty famous in the video game world, and she makes a boatload of money for her efforts.

Glu Mobile, the publisher of Kim Kardashian’s mobile game, knows exactly how successful the reality TV star is when it comes to the world of video games. The company just shared it’s most recent earnings report, and it’s pretty impressive.
The best quarter in history, Glu Mobile had revenues of $64.8 million (compared to only $21.7 million in the same quarter last year). Profits now sit at $10.6 million, a substantial amount after an $8 million loss last year.
Glu Mobile sad that all of it’s titles, including Dino Hunter: Deadly Shores and Tap Sports: Baseball, are doing well, but Kim Kardashian’s title takes the cake. The main source of income for the company is Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.
No matter what way you slice it, Kim is ruling yet another platform. With her face plastered all over every tabloid, and her rear end plastered all over Instagram and the internet, there’s plenty of interest to draw the dollar towards. Glu Mobile has seen that first hand, and they are ok running with it.
Thanks to the success of a show based largely on living vicariously through a celebrity’s lifestyle, Kim has effectively branded herself into a product that millions gravitate towards. For better or for worse, this is where we find ourselves at.
Count me out on ever touching this title, but considering the revenues, I appear to be in the minority.
