Fans thought that the Chicago Blackhawks might have totally badass Winter Classic Jerseys for 2015 — but they won’t.

The Chicago Blackhawks will play the Washington Capitals for the 2015 Winter Classic at the Washington Nationals ballpark this winter- on January 1, 2015, to be exact. But the real headline grabber this week was the supposedly leaked jerseys that the Blackhawks will be wearing in that game.

This photo got leaked on Reddit Tuesday night, and now I kind of want one. Forget the fact that I’m not a Blackhawks fan- I like Andrew Shaw enough, I’ll get his.

According to the team’s twitter, this is a fake jersey — so thanks for ruining our night Chicago.

Can this be real? Please?

Fans will find out for sure on Wednesday, just twenty-four hours after the ‘leaked’ jerseys supposedly got exposed. I’m not really sure what could be better- they’re classic and muted, not unlike the ones the Capitals revealed during the preseason.

Which, by the way- why did Chicago need so much time to reveal their jerseys? I chalk it up to artistic block. It’s whatever.

Fansided NHL will keep you updated tomorrow when the jersey is *actually* revealed by the franchise. If it doesn’t look this cool, I’m not getting one. (Disclosure- I probably cannot afford one anyway. Would anyone support a Kickstarter to get me one?)
